Dear Friends:

We are so appreciative of the community’s past support of Refashion for Life, CommonGround Ministry, and Elena’s House. Because of individuals and businesses throughout Wisconsin, we have been able to generate proceeds of more than $277,000 since the event’s inception in 2008.

After weeks of discussion and evaluation, we have concluded that due to the current COVID-19 situation, the 2020 Refashion for Life charity event scheduled for Wednesday, August 26 at the Ivy House will be cancelled. With the uncertainty we are currently experiencing as a city, state, and country and the unknown business climate that we all find ourselves in at present and going forward over the next few months, we know this is the correct decision.

We were very excited about this year’s event, as it was to be at a new venue and there was to be a new fashion show coordinator. We are pleased to announce that we have already scheduled the 2021 event for Wednesday, August 18, again at the Ivy House in Milwaukee. Alisa Chojnacki, a Milwaukee area boutique owner and model, will remain in the role of fashion show coordinator and Callen Construction, Inc. of Muskego will once again serve as the presenting sponsor.

We thank you again for your backing of Refashion for Life and Elena’s House as we provide physical, spiritual, and emotional support to people living with HIV/AIDS. Should you wish to continue your support, please visit the Elena’s House website.

We look forward having you as our guest at the 2021 event. From our house to yours, stay safe and best wishes.
